Two people were injured in an Israeli drone strike in Kafr Rummaneh in Lebanon’s Nabatieh district on Saturday (August 8), according to local media cited by Shafaq News.

Israeli shelling was also reported in the Ali Al-Taher heights and the outskirts of Nabatieh Al-Fawqa. An Israeli aircraft reportedly dropped explosives in the area. Israeli forces also entered the Zawtar Al-Gharbiyah area with armored vehicles and a bulldozer.

Two Israeli drone strikes were reported in the Mayfadoun area. In addition, an Israeli shelling and machine-gun fire targeted a house in Mays al-Jabal in Marjayoun district. Shelling also continued in the Al-Mansouri area of Tyre district.

Meanwhile, three Lebanese soldiers were injured while clearing unexploded ordnance in Nabatieh district. One of them sustained moderate injuries, according to the Lebanese Army.

According to Lebanon’s Health Ministry, Israeli attacks had killed 4,335 people and injured 12,273 others in the country as of August 7.
