MV Banglar Joyjatra Crosses Strait of Hormuz

The state-owned cargo vessel MV Banglar Joyjatra, operated by the Bangladesh Shipping Corporation (BSC), has successfully crossed the Strait of Hormuz.

The vessel crossed the strategic waterway on Tuesday (June 23).

It is now proceeding safely towards the waters of Fujairah Port in the United Arab Emirates to complete bunkering operations and obtain the necessary clearances.

All 31 crew members aboard the vessel are Bangladeshi nationals. MV Banglar Joyjatra navigated through an extremely risky situation amid the ongoing conflict in the Middle East before successfully crossing the Strait of Hormuz.
