Saudi Arabia has issued new guidelines for holders of multiple-entry Umrah visas. Although the visa remains valid for one year, travelers can stay in the country for a maximum of 90 days in total during the entire visa period.

The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah said the multiple-entry Umrah visa is valid for 365 days from the date of issuance. Holders can enter Saudi Arabia multiple times during this period, but their combined stay cannot exceed 90 days.

However, travelers must purchase an approved Umrah service package through the Nusuk platform before each trip. They must also obtain an Umrah permit through the Nusuk app before arriving in Saudi Arabia.

The ministry said the date mentioned on the Umrah permit must match the dates of the approved service package. The package validity also cannot exceed the remaining validity of the visa.

The ministry added that travelers must meet all other entry and travel requirements. The new system is intended to provide Umrah pilgrims with greater flexibility while maintaining the required procedures for each visit.
