Facebook Launches New AI-Powered App for Content Creators

Facebook’s parent company Meta has launched a new ‘Creator Studio’ app aimed at making content creation and management easier for creators. The app comes with an AI-powered creator assistant that can analyze a creator’s content style, previous post performance, audience engagement and future goals to provide personalized recommendations.

Creators can ask the AI assistant questions such as when to post to reach more people, what audiences are saying in comments and which types of content are performing well. The assistant can also respond to follow-up questions based on the creator’s needs.

The app also introduces new features for managing comments. The AI can highlight important comments and generate potential replies in the creator’s own writing style. However, creators will have full control to edit and approve any response before it is published.

A daily priorities section will also provide creators with an overview of recent post performance, progress toward their goals and comments that may require a response.

Meta said the app is currently available to selected iOS creators in the United States and Canada. The company began testing the app with a limited group of creators several weeks ago.

The move comes as Meta continues to compete with platforms such as TikTok and YouTube. Through the new initiative, the company aims to help creators remain more active on Facebook while encouraging them to use Meta’s own AI tools rather than relying on third-party services.
