Bushehr Airport Rendered Inoperable in Iran

Iranian government spokesperson Fatemeh Mohajerani has said that Bushehr Airport, located in southwestern Iran, has been rendered completely inoperable following a U.S. military strike.

Speaking on Tuesday (July 28), she stated that the airport would need to be rebuilt from the ground up before it could resume operations.

Mohajerani also said that the Bushehr Meteorological Center, located within the airport complex, was almost entirely destroyed in the attack. She emphasized that the facility was used exclusively for civilian purposes. Source: Al Jazeera.
