Chief Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus has returned to Dhaka after his visit to Qatar and participation in the funeral of Pope Francis. He left the Italian capital Rome at 1:30 pm Bangladesh time on Sunday. Then the flight carrying him landed in Dhaka at 3 am on Monday (April 28).
The funeral of Pope Francis was held last Saturday. Along with leaders from various countries of the world, Dr. Yunus also participated in the ceremony. Earlier, he arrived in Rome from Doha, Qatar on Friday.On Saturday, after the Pope's funeral, Dr. Yunus was met by two top leaders of the Catholic Church - Cardinal Silvano Maria Tomasi and Cardinal Jacob Kuvakkad.

They commemorated Pope Francis's vision of eradicating poverty, establishing the rights of marginalized communities, and a world free of nuclear weapons.In addition, Dr. Yunus expressed his gratitude for his work and thanked him for his contribution to the anti-poverty movement, referring to him as a close friend of the Pope.
