KUET's vice-chancellor and associate vice-chancellor resign

Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET) Vice Chancellor Muhammad Machud and Associate Vice Chancellor Sheikh Shariful Alam have resigned in the face of student protests.
The Ministry of Education told the media on Thursday (April 24) that the process of accepting their resignations is underway.In the interim, one of the senior professors will be temporarily assigned the responsibility of the Vice-Chancellor to ensure that the university's regular activities continue. This information has been given by the Ministry of Education.
