Thousands protest against Trump

Thousands of people have taken to the streets in 50 states to protest some of US President Donald Trump's recent policies, in what protesters are calling a "new fight for freedom."
BBC reports that thousands of people from all 50 US states took to the streets simultaneously on Saturday local time to protest against President Donald Trump's recent policies. The movement was called "50501" - meaning 50 protests in 50 states, one movement.

Protests across the United States on Saturday were largely peaceful, but tensions flared in some places. In one incident, Democratic Congressman Suhas Subramanian got into an argument with a Trump supporter, a video of which went viral on social media.Protesters say the spirit of freedom is reawakening. A wave of 50,501 protests were also seen at a ceremony commemorating the Battles of Lexington and Concord in Massachusetts. "This is another difficult time for our freedom," said protester Thomas Basford.
I wanted to teach my grandchildren how this country was built and sometimes you have to fight for freedom.
