Netanyahu Accused of Plotting Fake Plane Hijacking to Drag Trump Into New War With Iran

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu allegedly planned to stage a plane hijacking from the United Arab Emirates to Israel in an attempt to draw US President Donald Trump into a new war with Iran, Iranian state media Press TV reported, citing an unnamed regional source. There is no independent evidence publicly confirming the allegation.

According to the report, the alleged plan was discussed and finalized during Netanyahu’s recent visit to the UAE, where he was accompanied by senior Israeli military and intelligence officials. The source claimed the plan involved staging a “false flag” operation and blaming Iran for the incident.

The alleged objective was to create a new crisis that would push Trump toward renewed military action against Iran. The source also claimed Netanyahu was concerned about his political future and sought to use his influence with Trump to secure continued US support.

The allegations emerged shortly after Netanyahu’s visit to the UAE, where he held a closed-door meeting with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Iranian officials have also issued warnings over Israel’s activities in the region. Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Secretary Mohsen Rezaei criticized Netanyahu’s visit to the UAE and urged Abu Dhabi not to allow its territory to be used to escalate tensions.

Meanwhile, Iranian officials said they were closely monitoring Israeli and US activities and claimed Iran was prepared to respond to any hostile action. The allegations regarding the alleged plane-hijacking plot, however, have not been independently verified.
