Rizvi Accuses India of Plotting Against Bangladesh Over Sheikh Hasina

BNP Acting Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has accused India of plotting against Bangladesh by using former prime minister Sheikh Hasina as a focal point.

Rizvi made the allegation on Wednesday (September 16) while addressing a human chain and protest rally organized by the Muktijoddha Dal at the National Press Club in Dhaka.

He said relations between the two countries could not improve under the current circumstances, alleging that India was refusing to hand over Sheikh Hasina despite her alleged involvement in the deaths of around 1,400 people. He also accused India of providing shelter to several people he described as “killers.”

Rizvi further alleged that the suspension of electricity supply from Adani’s power plant the day after the government decided not to attend the BRICS summit was also part of a conspiracy.
