Nora Fatehi Faces Rs 3 Crore Defamation Suit Over ‘Toy Plane’ Remark

Bollywood actor and dancer Nora Fatehi is facing a Rs 3 crore civil defamation suit filed by aviation company Dunes Aviation over her social media remarks about one of its chartered aircraft. The company alleges that Fatehi’s comments damaged its reputation and affected its business.

The dispute dates back to December 2025, when Fatehi recorded videos inside a Cessna Citation CJ2 during a Mumbai-Jaipur flight and later posted them on Instagram. In the videos, she reportedly described the aircraft as a “miniature”, a “toy” and a “Lego airplane”.

Dunes Aviation claims that Fatehi’s remarks, amplified by her more than 4.6 crore Instagram followers, led to booking cancellations and a 15–20 per cent decline in bookings. The company says the aircraft was fully certified, airworthy and legally operated.

Apart from seeking Rs 3 crore in damages, the company has asked the court to order the removal of the disputed social media posts and seek a public clarification from Fatehi. The case is scheduled to be heard by Senior Civil Judge R Agarwal in a Gandhinagar court on September 25.
