US President Donald Trump has said that the United States could launch a strike on Iran’s Pique Mountain site very soon.
He made the remarks while speaking to reporters in the Oval Office on Friday (September 4).
Describing the ongoing conflict as a “military conflict” rather than a “war,” Trump said it was a minor issue for the United States. He claimed that the US was controlling traffic through the Strait of Hormuz and had attacked various parts of Iran’s military capabilities, including radars and aircraft.
Claiming that Iran had been prevented from developing nuclear weapons, Trump said, “They will not have nuclear weapons. That’s what we’ve done. We may strike Pique very soon.”
Trump did not give a timeline for when the conflict would end but claimed that Washington had already achieved its main objectives.
